Makati City is also known as the Financial Capital of the Philippines

Makati City is one of the cities and municipalities of Metro Manila. It is the Philippines' major financial, commercial and economic hub and dubbed as the Financial Capital of the Philippines. It is one of the most modern cities in the country, and said to be the most outstanding city, which is why it is also one of my favorite cities to hang out in when I am visiting Luzon .

It is also the home of the Makati Business Club and the Philippine Stock Exchange. The downtown central business district is often called the Wall Street of the country. It is also the home of first-class shopping malls. The city also boasts of the tallest buildings in the country. It is also home of the country's five-star hotels as well as budget hotels. Also probably another reason why I visit this city frequently. In the heart of the city is the Ayala Center. Here, you can go around shopping malls, theatres and restaurants without thinking or worrying about oncoming traffic. It's because of the elevated walkway that connects one mall to another and takes you to almost any restaurant or business establishment within the area. As I can remember, I think they called it the skywalk.
